We have an excellent opportunity for a bright and enthusiastic Solicitor to join our busy Civil Litigation Department.
Our civil litigation department practices in a wide and interesting range of areas involving disputes relating to property, landlord and tenant, probate, contract, debt, charities, intellectual property and defamation.
Closely linked with the civil litigation department is a busy and successful private client department.
The successful candidate will have an excellent academic record with strong written and oral skills, and previous experience with civil litigation. The candidate will be expected to manage his or her own caseload and be willing to apply themselves to a range of matters. It’s important that you are an effective communicator, can stay calm under pressure and have the ability to prioritise workloads.
Skills and Experience:
- Qualified solicitor
- At least 3 years’ PQE
- Managing own caseload
- Substantial experience of varied civil litigation matters
- Provide excellent client care and be able to manage client expectations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong PC skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
