Full-time Legal Secretary/ Administrator – Criminal Law

Salary: In the region of £25,000 depending on experience
Annual Leave: 24 days annual leave plus bank holidays

We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity ideal for individuals seeking hands-on experience within the legal sector. This role offers the chance to work closely with our nationally recognised Criminal Law Department, supporting a dynamic and highly skilled team.

Please note that this role will not lead to a training contract or qualifying work experience.

About the Role

This is a practical, fast-paced position at the core of our crime department. You’ll be dealing with the administration of criminal cases e.g. file opening, billing, maintaining diaries, liaising with clients, police, probation, courts, prisons and other solicitors and barristers. Attention to detail and the ability to work to strict deadlines are essential.

As the first point of contact for many clients and professionals, your role will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth running of the department.

Approved by the Legal Aid Agency, we provide legal advice and representation at police stations and in court to eligible individuals. Our team is known for its dedication, professionalism and commitment to justice.

About You

  • A high level of organisation and attention to detail
  • A client-focused, professional attitude

Previous experience using Leap case management software will be an advantage.
