About the Role
This is a practical, fast-paced position at the core of our Residential Property Team. You’ll play a key role in supporting our solicitors with a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters, including:
- Preparing and reviewing legal documents such as contracts, Land Registry applications and completion statements
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other solicitors
- Conducting searches and handling pre- and post-completion tasks
- Progressing on-going matters with a view of managing your own files under supervision
Attention to detail and the ability to work to strict deadlines are essential.
As the first point of contact for many clients and professionals, your role will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth running of the department.
About You
We are looking for a proactive and organised individual with:
- Strong IT skills
- Excellent communication skills
- A high level of organisation and attention to detail
- A client-focused, professional attitude
- 6-12 months’ experience in Residential Property is desirable
Previous experience using Leap case management software will be an advantage.
