GUILTY PLEAS

Birmingham Magistrates Court

1. Road traffic offence – Guilty plea representation at single hearing £250.00 plus VAT

Fixed Fee includes :

• 2 hours attendance/ preparation
  • considering evidence
  • taking your instructions
  • providing advice on likely sentence

West Midlands Magistrates Court other than Birmingham Magistrates Court

We undertake work on fixed fee basis only as follows

2. Road traffic offence – Guilty plea representation at single hearing £300.00 plus VAT

Fixed Fee includes :

• 2 hours attendance/ preparation
  • considering evidence
  • taking your instructions
  • providing advice on likely sentence
• Attendance and representation at a single hearing at a West Midlands Magistrates Court
  • Mileage

The fee does not include:

• Instruction of any expert witness
• Taking statements from any witnesses
• Advice and assistance in relation to a special reasons hearing
• Advise or assistance in relation to any appeal

The Key stages of your matter are based on the presumption that you have entered or intent to enter a guilty plea and have a date for your hearing.

NOT GUILTY PLEAS/TRIAL

We undertake work on fixed fee basis only as follows

Any West Midlands Magistrates Court

3. Road traffic offence – Not Guilty plea representation at single hearing -case listed for half day £750.00 plus VAT
4. Road traffic offence – Not Guilty plea representation at single hearing -case listed for full day £1500.00 plus VAT

Fixed Fee includes :

• Up to 4 hours attendance/ preparation for half day hearing and 6 hours attendance/preparation for a full day hearing.
  • considering evidence
  • taking your instructions
  • providing advice on likely sentence
• Attendance and representation at a single hearing at a West Midands Magistrates Court
  • Mileage

We undertake work on fixed fee basis only as follows

• Meet with your solicitor to provide instructions on what happened.
• We will consider initial disclosure, and any other evidence and provide advice.
• Arranging to take any witness statements if necessary (this will have an additional cost, of £50.00 plus VAT per witness).
• We will explain the court procedure to you so you know what to expect on the day of your hearing, and the sentencing options available to the court.
• We will conduct any further preparatory work, obtain further instructions from you if necessary and answer any follow up queries you have.
• We cannot provide a timescale of when your hearing will take place, as this depends on the court listing for that day.
• We will attend court on the day and meet with you before going before the court.
• We will discuss the outcome with you. If advice is required on appeal, this will carry an additional cost of £200.00 plus VAT.

The fee does not include:

• Instruction of any expert witness this will be fully discussed prior to any expert being instructed for a report or to attend court.
