Egg Allergy Death at Sikh Wedding

Oct 14 2009

On Tuesday 13 October 2009 the Court of Appeal heard an appeal made by Mr Prem Dutt Dubb t/a Lucky Caterers of Ilford, London, against a decision made by Oxford County Court last November, ordering him to pay our Client compensation after a Judge found that he had served food containing egg as part of a wedding meal served at a Sikh Temple, which caused the death of Mr Kuldip Singh Bhamra.

We opposed the appeal and the Appeal Judges reserved judgment to a later date.

The Estate of Mr Kuldip Singh Bhamra is represented by our Mr G S Kang and Mr Satinder Hunjan QC; a leading barrister based at No. 5 Chambers, Birmingham.
